A glorious day out for The Run for the Planet

The Run for the Planet was a huge success!

Taking place in the iconic Battersea Park on Sunday 9th March 2025, the Run for the Planet powered by Climategames was a glorious day out for everyone.

Under a beaming sun and blue sky, the runners took part in either 5km, 10km or the 10km relay.

Each runner helped remove 250g of plastic from heavily polluted waterways in Indonesia, the equivalent of 25 water bottles.

Take a look at our beautiful medals which contained a little compartment with wildflower seeds in them.

There was also plenty going on with our Climategames stand sharing all about our epic environmental projects and how everyone can get involved.

Huge thank you to everyone who participated and to our race partners OneRace, and we can't wait for the next one. We are incredibly proud of all our runners who helped remove plastic from the ocean with their run, it really does make a difference.

Our next in-person event is The One for the Planet at Dorney Lake on 15th June 2025 – get your tickets now!
